DMaaST Consortium Meeting In Porto

From 20 to 22 May 2025, Porto became the heartbeat of two Horizon Europe flagships, DMaaST and ONE4ALL.

The week began on the 20th, when our hosts at HOLOSS welcomed the full DMaaST consortium. Work-package leads walked everyone through progress on the data mesh, cognitive digital twins and the first runs of our MO-DDSS engine. New partners finally put faces to names, turning months of video-grid acquaintance into real-world camaraderie.

By the morning of the 21st we had wrapped up the standalone DMaaST agenda with clear action lists and a renewed sense of purpose. No sooner had the coffee cooled than the room filled with colleagues from ONE4ALL. Throughout the afternoon and the following day, both projects compared roadmaps, aligned KPIs for flexibility, energy and circularity, and began drafting shared actions. The conversations flowed easily; after all, many partners are part of both consortia and already speak the same manufacturing-data language.

Two intense, insight-rich days for DMaaST, followed by a full day of joint creativity with ONE4ALL, proved one thing: meeting in person accelerates collaboration in ways that no screen can. With common goals now firmly mapped and next steps agreed, the combined teams leave Porto ready to push Manufacturing-as-a-Service further and faster together.
