DMaaST Hosts Its First Webinar: Revolutionising Manufacturing-as-a-Service
On Thursday, 16 October 2025, DMaaST held its first public webinar, “Revolutionising Manufacturing-as-a-Service: Perspectives from DMaaST.” The 45-minute session brought together industry experts, researchers, and stakeholders to explore how trusted data, digital twins and decision intelligence are shaping the future of Manufacturing-as-a-Service (MaaS).
The event opened with a welcome address from Dusan, who introduced the project’s vision and set the tone for the discussion. Following this, Natalie Samovich delivered an insightful keynote speech, highlighting the importance of AI, data spaces, and digital-twin enablement in driving industrial innovation.
The DMaaST project overview was then presented by Lucía Gálvez del Postigo, our project Coordinator from IDENER, who outlined the project’s objectives, structure and progress.

Next, Ema Lovšin from Trace Labs demonstrated how the OriginTrail Decentralised Knowledge Graph (DKG) enables autonomous manufacturing, while Charles Francout from JPB Système showcased the company’s contribution and ongoing work within the project.
The session concluded with a Q&A segment, which led to a meaningful and interactive discussion between speakers and attendees, reflecting the strong interest in DMaaST’s approach and technology.
A warm thank-you goes to all our speakers and to everyone who joined the event. This was only the first in a series of webinars, and more are yet to come.
