Functional surfaces: Industry-centered use cases

October 7, 2025 @ 2:00 pm - 3:30 pm

SAVE THE DATE: October 7, from 14:00 to 15:30 CET

Collaborative Advanced Manufacturing Technologies: Driven innovation in Functional Surfaces

Five cutting-edge EC-funded projects are collaborating in this webinar to bring together the latest advances in laser-based and advanced surface treatment technological innovations to tackle real-world surface challenges. All projects are funded under the topic “Products with complex functional surfaces (Made in Europe Partnership)“.

From sustainable corrosion‑resistant coatings (Sure2Coat) and high‑precision 3D metasurfaces for optical sensors (FABulous), to bio‑inspired drag‑reducing textures for hydro turbines (BILASURF), you’ll discover how laser functionalization is reshaping industrial performance.

We’ll also showcase real‑time monitoring systems for sustainable manufacturing (SYNTECS) and post‑processing laser treatments that boost biocompatibility and durability in biomedical implants and aerospace components (CLASCO).

Join our expert panel to explore technical and economic hurdles, cross‑sector synergies, and the future impact of these collaborative projects.

Admission is free, but registration is mandatory.
