European Manufacturing Conference 2026

Global power dynamics are shifting rapidly. Technological transformation is accelerating, and security considerations are increasingly shaping economic and industrial decisions. In this context, Europe is prioritising industrial independence and sovereignty, and manufacturing sits at the very heart of this ambition.
The third edition of the European Manufacturing Conference (EMC) will take place on 16–17 September 2026 in Brussels, under the theme: “A new global order: Securing Europe’s industrial leadership.” EMC 2026 will explore how research, development, and innovation can position Europe as a global leader in manufacturing.
Over two full days, participants will engage with key topics shaping the European manufacturing ecosystem today, from strengthening industrial and trade competitiveness, to unlocking the potential of startups and scaleups, and embedding sustainability into Europe’s industrial DNA. Europe has a rich research base and strong sustainability principles, but the conference will ask: Is this enough to secure Europe’s place among global industrial leaders? How can regulations and frameworks for emerging technologies attract new businesses, talent, and investments to Europe?
Co-organised by EFFRA, EIT Manufacturing, and ManuFuture, EMC 2026 embodies a shared belief in the power of collaboration to create the right conditions for solving the most pressing challenges facing European industry and society.
Early bird registration is open until 2 March, offering reduced rates for those who register early.
